About Us…

Dale & Brenda Manor

We Met.

We Married.

We love making art!

In 2009 we met through happenstance in Brenda’s hometown of Pontiac Illinois. The Walldogs were having their annual Mural Festival and Dale came to lead a mural project across the street from where Brenda was painting. We chatted a bit, then a whole lot more chatter followed, and then we fell in love.

In 2011 we got married at another Walldog Festival in Plymouth, WI. From there our creative energy has continued to develop and evolve over the years. We inspire each other and love to bring new visions to life!

As a couple, we have been very honored to be able to give back to charities that we feel deeply about. Since we met in 2009 we have donated numerous pieces of art to help children and families facing severe illnesses.

Meet the Artists

  • Brenda Manor

My lifelong love of art does not come from any education or encouragement from family of friends while growing up. It came from having an open mind and desire to create or re-create what my eyes and imagination could see. It’s like a vibration deep within you that most would call passion, which you express visually, because people are visual by nature.

While attending my first Walldog event in June of 2009 in my hometown of Pontiacs, IL, I was fortunate enough to meet my husband, Dale Manor. We connected that summer and continue to share a passion for creating. He has been my support, mentor, and sounding board.

In addition to being part of our extensive Walldog family, I also participate and volunteer with groups out of Milwaukee and Chicago. We donate art pieces to charities that help children and families battling serious illnesses. Our work is auctioned off at the World of Wheels events which I have been involved with since 2010.

I was born in the small town of Menomonie in Northwest Wisconsin. After graduating from High School, I attended a two-year Mechanical Design Drafting program. I worked in advertising as a graphic designer for several years before returning to college to earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Wisconsin - Stout in 1995.

I began painting race cars at 16 years old, then started painting signs professionally around 1989. I painted my first large-scale exterior mural in 2000 on a barn in Dunn County, Wisconsin. I’ve had my work published in several national publications, including cover stories.

I’ve been a member of Letterheads since 2002 when I attended my first Walldog meet in Chippewa Falls, WI. Since then I have attended numerous Letterhead and Walldog events around the United States and Canada. I’ve performed as Project Leader at several events over the years.
